1.Yes, it hurt Europe because it divided the country instead of unifying it, and stopped social progress.

1. I don’t think it hurt, as a matter of fact, I think it helped pave the way for how typical government works in Europe. It structured society around relationships. But on the other hand, it may have created a lasting class system, and it may have inspired a lasting idea that those in power could do whatever they want regardless of how it affected others.

1). While feudalism did help build some social structure within the region, it caused a lot of problems for the society. For instance, feudalism was an unequal system for serfs and those of lower classes; there was no opportunity for them to move up in society and had restrictions in movements. The system enforced laws poorly, and while it protected those from coming in to invade, there was no peace for those inside.

1) It was bad because there was no room for anyone to move up in society, people were not treated fairly, and there was not a strong government.

We think that it hurt the development because it potentially caused poverty throughout the kingdom.

1. I think feudalism helped western europe's development because it kept the region from falling further into disarray by keeping everyone in check and giving everyone a role n life.

3. In the level of knights they would train all day unless they were needed which means that their daily life varied based on the battle or conflict they were in. I would enjoy it because you were rarely needed, and when you were needed you would go into battle with people you have been training with for the past eight years. I would not enjoy the sleep hours because you had to wake up early and sometimes you had to go to sleep very late.

1. We believe that feudalism is hurtful for Western Europe because there was no unifying factor involved in it.

1. Feudalism ultimately hurt Western Europe's development more than it helped. By keeping people in whatever class they were in, it hindered new technological innovations. It made people in society unequal, which affected the society in a number of ways.

1. We think that Feudalism mostly hurt Western Europe's development, because it created tiny societies inside Western Europe, the political structures were mildly chaotic because there was no central laws or power, and there was no real end goals for people, they couldn't move up in class or make a better living for themselves.

1. Feudalism hurt Western Europe's development because it did not allow for the unification of large regions, it limited social progression and advancement, there was no advancement in technology and the arts, and because there was no central government that could enforce laws and minimize violence between lords.

1. We believe that feudalism helped Western Europe development because it provided security, expand of trade, similar to a semi-democracy, and it balanced the power between the organization.
