1. We think feudalism helped Western Europe's development because it didn't give complete power to one person. Feudalism helped make people faithful, and made them carry out their duties to each other. Although some had less power than others it kept a strict and reformed way of life; therefore, it helped immensely.

1. We think that feudalism did not help with Western Europe's development because they could not unite with other countries and regions. In addition, where you're at in the feudal system is where you will stay until you die, which means that no one could achieve greater things in life.

1. I think it hurt Western Europe's development because none of the lands united and the people who were in poverty were forced to stay like that.

We both believe that feudalism hurt Western Europe's development. The system did not necessarily unite anyone, it was very unfair for the who were closer to the bottom of the pyramid and forced serfs to be trapped in the bottom portion of the pyramid forever.

1. Feudalism helped the Western European development. This is because it provided stability and order (structure). Everybody was taken care of.

1. We think it helped Western Europe. We think this because it created a stable environment and it made a solid structure that everyone fit in.

1. Feudalism helped the Western European development. It helped because it helped protect, restored trade, and benefited the lords, vassals, and peasants.
